"Thimpu" an amazing capital of the world

Thimpu is a peaceful city with strong traditional values based on religion, respect for the visitors  and care for the environment. It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan and the name of the surrounding valley  dzongkhag. Capital to the tiny Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, Thimphu is perhaps the smallest capital in the world and is situated in the heart of Bhutan.
 One interesting and amazing fact about this city is that
it is the only world capital without any traffic lights. It exhibits splendid traditional Bhutanese art, architecture, culture, and tradition and above all still so ethnic and pure. Thimphu is its culture and its natural beauty, both of them giving it a unique attraction. Make sure that you have visited all the important attractions in Thimphu in the first place.
Altitude:
It is situated at the altitude of 2300m from sea level and cool and fresh climate to enjoy the natural beauty. Thimphu is situated in the constricted, linear Wang Chuu valley. The river is also known as the Thimphu Chuu (Chuu meaning "river").there is lot vegetation and thick forest around the valley that keep it cool.
Accommodation:
There are many accommodation facilities available on a very of affordable range. It is up to the visitors that he want to take luxury hotel or cheap hut. It is necessary to negotiate on prices.

Accessible:
It is accessible through air and land. Druk Air (national air carrier) is the only air service operating out of Bhutan. Paro International Airport is the only airport in Bhutan connecting it with Kathmandu, Calcutta, Bangkok, Dacca, and New Delhi. It is accessible From Bagdogra in India, at the drive of 175 km land route to Phuentsholing, the entry point in Bhutan. From Phuentsholing there is a tiring 179 km journey to Thimphu although the journey gives you a great chance to appreciate the natural beauty of the country. You can rent a private car or can travel by luxury  Bus  to reach in the world of fascination. In addition to metered taxis, limousine service is also available at the airport for transport to major hotels in the city.
